The Nowra RSL Sub-Branch will be conducting commemorations at Greenwell Point (5:45am) and the Nowra Memorial Gates (11:00am) on an invitation only basis in a separated area. This is to satisfy NSW Health requirements as part of the COVID-19 response in our state. There will not be a march at both venues. The public can observe the commemorations but will be responsible for their own COVID-19 compliance.

The Driveway At Dawn scheme is the preferred means of observing ANZAC Day this year by the Sub-Branch for the public. That way we all remain safe while showing our respects to Veterans, currently serving Defence members, and their families. It also helps protect our aging Veterans who are particularly vulnerable to the pandemic.

Full details have been posted to our Facebook page. Did you know that both commemorations will be televised live on our Facebook page?

The Sub-Branch has worked hard this year to ensure commemorations are conducted safely. We hope that ANZAC Day 2022 will be able to be commemorated more fully as we have done in the past. Your patience is appreciated as we work towards that goal, aided by the precautionary steps we take this year.
