On Friday 16th June our President Robert Grant joined our scholarship winner Danielle Peck and her father for the presentation of her scholarship certificate by the Governor General of Australia, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd). The ceremony was held in the newly renovated auditorium of the ANZAC Memorial in Sydney.
The ceremony also celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Australian Veterans’ Children Assistance Trust (AVCAT) who administers the scholarship. To find out more about AVCAT and the various scholarships they offer, refer to their web site here.
